Quilted Nylon & Carhartt's don't mix

This was to replace an older version. I liked the color and pockets better on the newer version but was aprehensive about the quilted nylon sleeve lining when I bought it. My old one had the blanket sleeve lining and unfortunately, the first time I wore the new one hiking in 20F weather, I found my arms became uncomfortable because of persperation. How could you work all day in a work jacket like this?

The nylon may improve sleeve lining durability but at a loss in performance. These people need to remember that jackets are a dime a dozen and faithful Carhartt purchaser's buy for durability and performance. To this end, I'd recommend getting the nylon out.

Aside from the nylon, I'm confident this jacket will meet or exceed other expectations.
