great carpenters work jacket

My husband and son both love their new Detroit jackets. We have been looking for short work jackets that have a jean jacket fit for some time. The length needs to be just right so they can wear their tool belts. And it needs to fit with a hooded sweatshirt, turtleneck, and base layer underneath or on its own on warmer days. My guys are slim in the hips (29-30 waist) and broad in the shoulders. The jacket has snaps to bring in the waist for them. The medium fits perfectly, even the length of the sleeves fits my son who has long arms. Wool lining is warm enough with other layers but it could have a warmer quilted lining or something similar. The sherpa lined Detroit has an ugly dark zipper or I would have tried that one as well. Especially at this great price. Cannot find any manufacturing flaws as of yet.
