Very satisfied with the purchase. I have other Carhartt pants and am used to the brand, so they basically performed as expected. Easy to get on and off with the insulation quilt sewn and very smooth. Tool pockets are placed a bit further back on the thigh to accommodate the leg zips-which I probably didn't need, but these were available in brown in my size-which took a little getting used to but no actual tool drops yet so no big deal. First use was putting up xmas lights in 40s and they worked perfectly. Warmer legs mean less bulk needed on top as well so I have more freedom of movement up 20' on a ladder. If you know your Carhartt size, like I do, then getting new ones via web is easy. The quality and durability is top notch. I don't have lots of pairs of work pants, and mostly put them through carpentry-type work in addition to work around the house, but I have had other pants fail (Mountain Khakis) where every pair of Carhartts I have had is still in service.
