Comfortable pants

They look and feel great. I like the knee/thigh gusset. I think they will be great to wear as work and hiking pants. If they hold up they will be my go to pants for summer and spring . They are a bit a roomie in the waist, I could have a gotten a size smaller.

First off would not reccomend if you are going to be on your knees alot the full sw8ng is gonna be a problem its not bad but youll feel it. These fit true to size not even unlike some other carhart pants and pega are normal size not baggy like the duck pants, if this had vetter knee design would ve 5/5 stars

My husband likes these for work. He is hard on his work clothes but they are very durable and the price is great.

Waist is a little tight, but that is a Carhartt thing. So I would order up 1 or 2 sizes.

So I for this specific pair...

Knee Gussets... On the knee the gussets are not open. For me it seams the knee gussets are always open showing about 2 inches of the fabric behind them. This is my main complaint with them, combing this with a lack of a gusset at the crotch is a deal breaker for me.

I will wear these at work (climbing poles) and perhaps raise my review. But with the large selection of clothing on Sierra I would expect not to re-order or recommend these.

  • Waist did not fit Carhartt pants!

I bought 2 pairs of pants, both Carhartt, both the same size. One similar to Levis, fit as expected but the other style (more expensive) did not fit in the waist. I am disappointed!

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
