  • Knee Panel Fail
Verified Buyer Reviewed by LabCruiser from Tennessee on Tuesday, July 17, 2018
I tried several varieties of Carhartt work pants from STP. The Carhartt Full Swing Quick Duck Cryder Dungaree was a fail for me. The hidden panels in the knees for extra mobility sound great but do not work. The panels fail to retract in place creating a mess on the knee. These pants were returned. The Carhartt Twill Work Pant and the Carhartt Tacoma Ripstop were both successes.
  • knee slit?

These are really comfortable pants, except for the knee slit. A great idea but that part is not comfortable at all, more of a distraction. I would give these a 5 star if not for the knee slit
  • Strange two legged things
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Olivander from Mathas Vinyid on Sunday, May 20, 2018
The material was not what I was expecting from a carhartt, it felt smooth and sapless. It would probably hold up but the knees were way too strange for me. There is a second stretchy material sewed in at the knees that articulates and folds out like a lobster tail when you bend at the knees. Kinda cool, but not what I was looking for in a pair of pants. Fit true to size but returned.

  • Carhart Duck Cryder Dungaree

Comfortable pant. Sizing is just a little tight. I ordered them in a 40 and glad I did, as they fit like a 38, which is what I normally wear. Would give them 5 stars, but pant legs have a mid seam that should have been sewn shut. The flaps of the seam unfold, displaying the under layer of the pant. Can easily be sewn closed, or ignored, as the look is uniform across the pant leg. Bottom line, a highly functional, comfortable pant, that also partially repels water. Liked them well enough for their durability that I ordered 4 more pairs......

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
