Good design

While these socks weren't quite as thick as I thought they would be, they are made of a good material with a good design. They don't quite go up my entire calf, but the thick band at the top keeps them in place while still being comfortable.

Socks are soft and thick. Bought them for daughter living in North Dakota!
  • Good socks, band at top a little tight

I find these socks to be comfortable and fit well inside boots that are just a *tad* too big (not a half size up, less than that). I bought them for fall in northern Germany and I find my feet tend to stay comfortable when I wear these socks. I'm actually going to buy a few more pairs, would recommend.
  • Not what was described-- not compression!

I had the same experience as another reviewer. The packaging does not say compression. Rather, the packaging labels these cold-weather socks. They're thick. Not at all what I wanted, so I returned them.

I ordered this sucks because I wanted moderate compression socks. Nowhere on the label of the socks did it say they were compression socks. It said they were winter socks. I was going to return them but I would've had to pay shipping costs and I already paid shipping cost to get that item so I gave them away instead of paying shipping fee. I Talked to customer service and they were not helpful.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
