I bought the Large and, as is, fits perhaps just a tad too big (5'7" 155 lbs.), but since it's 100% cotton, I expect it will shrink a bit. Deep, rich color (I bought the red), well made. Highly recommend.

I still love the shirt and will just roll the cuff up. I have washed the shirt already and it still looks great.

This would have been a 5-start shirt except for the sleeve cuffs, which for some mysterious reason are pleated. Who pleats a plaid work shirt??? I just unbutton the sleeves and roll them up, which works for me.

They are very heavy duty, almost like a light jacket. They seem to run large. One never knows these days when buying online. I wish they would publish the measurements arm pit to arm pit so you have an idea. I have a 41 inch bust and ordered XL's. Way too big, but I washed them a couple times (our washing machine is top loading and for whatever reason it likes to shrink things). It shrunk down about a size but still large. Good for wearing around the house at night with leggings. Next I ordered a L which was also too big out of the package, but it fits just perfectly after shrinking in my top loading machine. These shirts are more like the ones my dad used to wear wintertime on the farm in Wisconsin, very heavy duty and work weight shirt.

Not too thick though, so 4 stars, just because I think a flannel should be thick! FYI if you need a nice thick flannel shirt that will last forever, check out Patagonia.
