Reviewed by OlTrailDog from Bozeman, MT aka the Mother Country on Monday, February 17, 2014I purchased this hi-vis hooded sweatshirt specifically for visibility while bike riding. It works well for that use because of the colour and reflective tape. I is 100% polyester and that was essential for me, because cotton and wet weather no not mix...period. I am a huge fan of Carhartt products, and like their other clothing this hoody is well made and sized for comfort and as an outside layer. The zipper is metal and should last, unlike the Icebreaker and Ibex zippers that I wear out too quickly. On the down side, this hoody is heavy. I expected the typical black nylon/polyester quilted "thermal lining" but it has a black mess instead. I may end up cutting out the black liner just to lighten it up. A hi-vis fleece hoody would be great, but until then this will work.
