False advertising

This product description is a LIE. Specs clearly states "full-grain leather" which it absolutely is not. It is "Genuine Leather" stamped right there on the belt. Genuine leather is the great leather business lie, it is cheaper layers glued together. Marketing ploy, play on words. You sold a genuine leather product as FULL GRAIN. They are not the same thing AT ALL. I took for granted this was a real deal, as you marked it as a closeout, and being Carhartt brand, I fully expected I might just be getting a great deal, on perhaps a $40 'value' belt (FULL GRAIN) for this sale price. NOT.

The plastic-y paint-like coating on the surface of this belt is terrible as well. Wrinkles if you put even a slight bend in the belt (clearly indicating the belt is genuine leather, and has a fake 'skin' on the surface. Real full grain leather does NOT do that).

Same as any other cheap 'genuine leather' belt you would find at WalMart, Ross, or TJ Maxx. Disappointed that this wasn't a 'deal' on a Carhartt brand good belt. It is only a $10 belt and for sure will last as long as a $10 belt would from China. I shoulda known better, but I took a chance. Burned.
