  • “Why oh WHY did Carhartt discontinue the much better looking and fitting B167 DST loose fit jean?? I bought 6 pairs of those between 2011 and 2012 and they were my "go-to" jeans. Well, they finally started wearing out in 2015. So i go to buy 3 or 4 more pairs, and find out they're no longer made.(!?) Ok, well, maybe the new version will be fine (I thought). So I ordered 3 pair of the new 100066 loose fit Carhartts. Whoops, sorry: NO comparison...at ALL. First thing I noticed upon receipt was they weren't as heavy duty. And what is up with the sizing now?? I ordered my usual size (W & L) but when I put them on, they are way bigger than they should be!! About 2 extra inches around the waist and 2-3 inches extra in length. Ridiculous! If Carhartt is going to market a loose fit jean anyway, WHY market a product that is inferior to what they previously offered?? BTW, I am now searching for a replacement brand. ”

    • Sorry, just a customer, not the manufacturer.

  • “What is the difference between the two cuts; Loose fit and relaxed fit. ”
Asked by jrhiker from Idaho on 2/4/2014 8:15:30 AM
    • Loose is a little baggier than relaxed, mostly in the seat and thigh.

  • “Are the Carhartt Jeans 2nd as in not brand new? They all have that listed on site????”
Asked by Lori from Unknown on 8/16/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • They are 2nd's, but they are new. 2nds are items with barely perceptible blemishes or slight irregularities that do not affect fit, performance or longevity such as an error in the stitching or a slight fading of the product’s color. Labels on 2nds are usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer, and 2nds are often offered at lower prices.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
