  • “What is the sleeve length on this sweatshirt? My son is 6'6" and needs the length in the arms as well as the torso.”

  • “Are these sweatshirts talls? The sizes are not shown as 2xlt, 3xlt, but it says they are for tall men.”
Asked by Hoopaggie from Troup, Tx on 10/30/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • Yes these are tall sizes. We have a separate product number for the regular sizes.

  • “should you by a size larger to go over an existing shirt or order what size shirt you wear?”
Asked by grumpy from fla. on 3/26/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • That all depends on how you want the sweatshirt to fit. If you want it to fit loosely over a shirt, I would recommend ordering a larger size. If you want it to be form fitting, order your normal shirt size. Have a great day.

    • The one I received was on the big side and the normal size I order was more than enough room. Since many of these items are "2nds", I'm not sure if each item will vary in fit.
Answered on 6/3/2012 12:00:00 AM by Inkedcoach from DMV
    • No - buy true to size - it is big enough

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
