  • “what do you mean by original fit ... are they slim cut, full cut etc.”
Asked by Anonymous from Traverse City, MI on 3/7/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • Original fit means the pants will be mid-rise, have a straight hip and thigh and a straight or boot-cut leg.
Answered on 3/7/2012 12:00:00 AM by Prod.Spec. Ryan from Sierra Trading Post
    • I would say they are certainly not slim cut. These jeans are for the hourglass shaped woman with some backside on her.

  • “Do these jeans come all the way up to your belly button?”
Asked by Anonymous from Crawford, Colorado on 7/20/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • No this is a low midrise type of jean, it would hug your waist but not reach the belly button.
Answered on 7/22/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from None
    • Not quite to the belly button.
Answered on 8/24/2011 12:00:00 AM by Bethy from Richmond, CA
    • On me, the jean sit about one inch below the belly button. I'm just under 5'7" and ordered the size 10, 32 inch length.
Answered on 10/31/2011 12:00:00 AM by Rabbit from Conifer, CO
    • No, about one inch below. I bought size 10, 32 length. I'm almost 5'7", 150 lbs. For my size, the jeans sit a little below my belly button.
Answered on 11/27/2011 12:00:00 AM by Rabbit from Conifer, CO
    • Slightly below. I won't wear them if they did. High waist jeans aren't for me!

    • Yes, they do.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
