Great midweight quilted bibs. Fit great - look good. They recommend that you get them 3 to 4 sizes bigger them your waist size so you have adequate room and this holds true. Also length should be 2 inches shorter then what you normally ware.
There's are 2nds but I did not find any major flaws... Read More

Carhartt Quilt-lined Bib Overalls were purchased in a 40 Waist, I'm a 38 and they fit very comfortably with plenty of room for layered clothing if needed. The materials used are the real Carhartt brand, Sierra Trading Post infers the Carhartt Quilt-lined Bib Overalls are "Factory Seconds" with respect to minor imperfections in the quality; but seriously, I have yet to find any of the imperfections myself? Good for me!!! : )

Got these at half the price even thou they are seconds and I didn't notice anything wrong with them. Tried them on and fit good. You need to order your same size in leg length and at least two to three sizes up to fit good over your clothing and be comfortable and roomy. I had a old pair that were 40x28 they fit good and on here they only had 42x30 in stock and those also fit good and gave me a little more comfort and room to move around. They are the most comfortable and fit good once you know what size you need overalls that I have had and I would recommend them.

These Carhartt Bonn’s may have been factory seconds, but I didn’t see anything wrong with them. I tried a pair on in store, but they didn’t have my size. I found this pair for 1/2 the price and I’m 100% satisfied. I’ll probably be buying another pair in another color and a matching jacket.

Same quality as I am used to, I wore out my old pair after about 6 years of heavy use.

These bibs are good, I see no major defects or any small ones for that matter. Pretty warm. The only negative is no bottoms for the ankles and they only unzip to about the knees. I would recommend these.

    • The smallest waist size that we currently have available is a size 38. Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, some sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. • I normally wear a 30/32 (I am a female). I ordered a 32/30 since I wanted room around the waist for clothes underneath the bibs. The bibs literally sit at the natural waist, so they fit snug, but with plenty of room for clothing and movement. I originally ordered my regular length of 32, but they were too long, so I ordered the 30 length which is still long, but not dragging on the ground. My legs are slender so they don't take up any of the pant lengths as the pant legs hang freely on my leg - even with pants on underneath.

    • I went up 2" in the waist and down 2" inches in the length (I think they run long). So normally take a 30" x 32" and I ordered a 32"x 30". However, I am slender, so my legs don't fill out the pant legs (which are roomy) so they hang completely. When I button the buttons at the waist, they are snug, but not uncomfortably snug. The buttons to secure the waist sit at the real waistline, (not below the belly button) - so if he has a bit of a belly, you might want to measure that area to determine the waist size.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
