These are not sized to wear over pants. To do so, order two sizes up!

  • Tough, warm and well-liked

We give these for Christmas presents every year - in our farming country, family & friends get a lot of good out of them. They're marked 2nds but I have to look hard to find the problems as a rule - and they certainly don't affect their warmth or durability. I will say that everyone reports knee-high zippers are just about worthless compared to the full-length ones, getting them on/off when you have winter boots on just does NOT work w/ the knee-length zippers! So we don't get anything but full-length leg zippers on the ones we buy.
  • 2nds?
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Greg from Iowa on Friday, December 11, 2015
I can't tell why these are 2nds. Happy I followed suggestions from previous reviews. I'm 5'-10"; 175 lbs. Normally order 34W x 32L pants, but ordered 38W x 32L. Will allow room for sweatshirts to be tucked in. Should have ordered 30" length so the ends of the pant legs wouldn't get in the slop.

Great bibs, true Carhartt quality, strong work wear
  • Runs a little small

They look well-made and tough but they run small. I'd advise ordering up a size.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
