Not What I Expected from Carhartt

Have previously purchased Carhartt work pants (#14806 (?)) from Sierra Trading Post and they were fabulous - looked nice, wore very well. These Relaxed Fit Khaki Pants are the only all cotton non-jean pants Carhartt currently makes and they leave a lot to be desired. The material is thin but may indeed wear well (although it seems to have a coating that two washings haven't removed). The seams on the legs are only single stitched and are shoddy. Worst of all, they have SELF DUMPING POCKETS. Sit down with change or keys in your front pockets and they're likely not to be there when you get up. If my wife hadn't already slightly shorted them for me I'd return them. Even at STP's nice price these pants are not worth it.
  • Cons: Material Too Thin, Poor Quality
  • Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser
  • Pros: Comfortable
  • Waist: Feels too big
  • Was this a gift?: No
