Look fine, fit terrible.

These Carhartt jeans look like everyday normal denim and they're durable. That's about where I stop liking them.

I purchased 2 pairs.

The denim is stiff and does not soften up even after many washes. They also wrinkle worse than any pair of jeans I've ever had, but that's typical Carhartt.

The fit is absolutely terrible. I'm 6ft 1in, slightly fatter than I should be and I find these jeans uncomfortable from the moment I put them on to the moment I take them off. It's like they're cut backwards, the front wants to go up too high and the back shows my crack more often than not. They feel tight around the thigh and actually make me feel claustrophobic on bad days because they won't let me move as freely as I want to. I can't spread my legs fully wearing them, bending and crouching introduces all sorts of tightness and pinching.

The waist feels true to size, as does the length, but the rest of the cut just isn't for me. I'll be donating them and sticking to anything that isn't denim from Carhartt.
