I have a lot of Carhartt gear, and this is one of my very favorite items. I've had a tan one for 10 years or so, and with all the coats and vests I own, it's one of the warmest and most functional. Great vest! But being a Husky guy(2XL) it barely covers my bellybutton. Exchanged it for a 2XL Tall and it fits perfectly!!!

I needed a Tall version, which is not available. I am not gonna blame anyone, but I wish I had known. I didn't bother returning it, just gave it to a friend who is smaller than me. He loves it. I loved the construction of this vest, the ruggedness, the durability, and the feel.... all are great --- if had been maybe two inches longer. What can I say? Tall peeps, its not the one. Very well made, would have been very warm to, if only ...

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
