I use this coat working outside and I stay warm. It blocks the wind great. I would buy another one to keep clean too.

  • “Please advise colors available and shipping time....costs to Charleston WV”

    • Hello "Big Rich"..
I am fairly certain the Sandstone Jackson Coat in question has the Sherpa Lining(Black sorta like wool) I don't have this exact Coat however I do have a Sherpa Lined Jacket that is light Biege/tan that is quite warm and comfortable... Carhartt Duck Type fabric is, well the closest to it would be a Tent... Carhartt. Uses I believe 12 oz Duck fabric when constructing the coat & jacket.
In double checking My Brother has the coat you are asking about... He told me that it is very warm and the length is very adequate.. The Fabric stands up to day to day work abuse.. Although not stated as rain gear it tends to repel water very well...
Personally, I feel that the material & construction will give you years of service duty & warmth.!!! Wear it in good health...

      Happy Trails

P.S. Plenty of pockets for your "Doo-dads"....

    • Currently we only have this available in the Army Green size 4XL. Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
