I replaced an old men's carhartt jacket with this one for work. I wasn't sure if the med would fit (I'm size 10 or 12). I'm glad I didn't get a large. The med fits even with a sweatshirt or sweater under it. I like the style, it's very flattering. It's nice a warm too. Perfect for cold Colorado wint... Read More

  • Warmer in winter

This coat is exactly what I needed for working outside in winter. The Sherpa lining is warm and the coat as a whole is very durable. The fit is as expected with extra room in the hip and shoulder area for layers. For being a factory 2nd I have yet to find any issues with this coat.

Other than a little discoloration on the outer fabric by the pockets, I couldn't find a single thing wrong with this jacket. It's an excellent deal if you're looking at this particular style. I did try one on locally before purchasing and I'm glad I did, because I needed to go a size up if I wanted to wear layers under the jacket. If you're vertically challenged like me (I'm 5'1"), you may find the arms to be a little long, but I like the fact that they'll cover my hands for those times I forget my gloves (which is pretty much always.)
  • Love this jacket.

So nice to have a woman’s carhartt! Fits great. 5’3” 112 lbs. Small is perfect. It’s warm and comfy. Can finally stop wearing my husband’s jacket doing stuff outside in fall and winter. Color plumb is really nice too! Great buy!

  • “What is the length? On the main photo the jacket looked mid-length. when viewing the other colors it looks short on the model. ”
Asked by zephyrlily from Silverton on 10/16/2018 1:43:51 PM
    • I don't know the exact length. I returned it because it was quite big. Not so much long but pretty boxy with big shoulders and long sleeves. It's boxier than it appears in the model pic

  • “Because it is a 2nd - if there is something substantially wrong, such as it won't zip properly, can it be returned?”
Asked by Curious from Maine on 11/28/2016 9:12:13 AM
    • • 2nds: Minor cosmetic blemishes or irregulars which do not affect the fit, performance, or longevity of the item. Label is usually clipped by the manufacturer. A small flaw means big savings.

    • 2nds are items with barely perceptible blemishes or slight irregularities that do not affect fit, performance or longevity such as an error in the stitching or a slight fading of the product’s color. Labels on 2nds are usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer, and 2nds are often offered at lower prices.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
