5.0 out of 5 stars. Generously sized (room to layer), comfortable & EZ to wear, but very tough + a great price...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gloria from Southern California on Monday, January 28, 2019I bought a pair of these as well as the Wildwood overalls. They are very similar--both have double front panels, are very well made and the 12-ounce cotton duck is strong and durable enough to stand up to heavy duty wear. I would say that these Sandstone bibs are more relaxed through the leg than the Wildwood version--they measure about 3/4" wider along the length below the knee, and they are listed as 'boot-cut' on the Carhartt website. I wear these over long johns or a pair of jeans, so I don't find them to be really all that baggy, but I can see how they would be for slender women, so they might want to go down at least one size or try the Wildwood version. The waist is about the same as far as fit, but the bib is about two inches wider and shorter compared to the Wildwood. The pocket configurations on the bib are a bit different--this pair has a double pocket secured by snaps (the Wildwood has a side zipper pocket and two unsecured pockets). The Sandstone has what looks like two random button-holes on the bib--I was wondering what they could possible be for (not a defect, as they are also pictured on Carhartt's website) and I found out that these were traditionally for securing pocket watch/chain. The other pockets are deep and roomy. The description mentions a kick panel, but the pair I received does not have this feature. On me, the bib does not extend as high as it does on the model in the product image (of course she is probably a lot similar than I am...) but otherwise the overalls look and fit just like the picture. I am 5'4" tall and ordered these in the short inseam, and the length is just about right, so these might require hemming for petite women (or just roll them up). The suspenders are fine for me, but I can see where there might not work for everyone. I have them on the tightest setting and they are comfy due to the elastic, but I can only ease them out by about four more inches, so I think petite women would have to have them altered. The overalls are stiff and rigid and will take a while to break in (I don't consider that to be a problem, but I would like to point out that the Wildwood overalls are a bit softer and look more worn-in, but they are still very tough). If these are anything like the insulated pair of Sandstone overalls I already have, they are practically indestructible and will serve me well for many years.
Great for gardening and also provides protection for my legs when working in the garage or doing general yard work. I think these will be great in the kitchen when I am canning, although they might be too hot to wear in the heat of summer. Actually, I have just been wearing them around the house since I got them because I find them so comfortable (and cute)... I like both of these overalls and the differences seem pretty minor to me so I would not hesitate to recommend either pair as the price on STP is pretty much unbeatable. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for FallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Treem0mmi from Spokane on Friday, September 21, 2018As an arborist, I work outside all day everyday. I love these because I can layer under them and I don’t have to worry about pulling my pants up during my work day! The price is great and I didn’t notice any flaws in them but I wouldn’t mind anyway because they will get thrashed at work. I’m 5’10 165 and got a medium and they fit nicely with room for light layers under.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Too bigVerified Buyer Reviewed by Displaced Coloradan from Orange City, IA on Thursday, August 9, 2018I liked these, but had to return them because the Large was too big. I'm 5' 10" and weigh about 160. Usually wear size 10-12.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Rugged and adorableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Brooke from Los Angeles on Monday, July 16, 2018I’m 5’8 140 and work in the film industry. I love love love these bought a small 34” inseam and it fits great. Loose enough for function but still flattering.
I work in LA and get tons of compliments on my overalls which is amazing! -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Favorite work attireVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hilary from Indiana on Monday, July 9, 2018Love the feel and look of these. Too warm to wear them now in Indiana. 4/5 stars because I ordered up a size and they fit perfect other than the legs are a bit too wide. A little sewing will fix that.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Josie281 from Washington on Thursday, January 18, 2018The quality is there even if they are seconds.
These are short sized which I didn’t see in the listing so if you are not petite, they will not work for you. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Overalls!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sandy from NY on Monday, January 15, 2018I feel that these Carhartt overalls will last for many years to come, they are super thick and durable. These were true to my size, I bought a Medium, I am 5'8 about 150lb with a long torso. These overalls were slightly loose on me which is exactly what you want so you can still bend over and crouch down, function before fashion, however they still have a slightly slim fitted 'feminine' shape.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good, but you need to be able sewVerified Buyer Reviewed by AudraB from TN on Friday, January 5, 2018Great quality, but they are more of a tall fit. I needed to take 2 inches off the straps and another 2-3 inches off the legs. I always buy regular length pants, and they fit fine, so something is off on the sizing with these.

4.0 out of 5 stars. First bibVerified Buyer Reviewed by Marion from Quebec on Monday, May 15, 2017I bought the XS short and it is still a little bit too long for me. But I can still work so in the end i'm happy with my purchase!
