Excellent choice. Warm, fits well and no sign of defects. Just what was needed and wanted. Working in a cold construction office and this will go a long way in making it more comfortable. Never been disappointed in buying items listed as seconds.
Will come back again and again.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. You have to know it will be short

I am not a vest guy. I have a Carhartt hooded duck jacket, but the arms are bulky when doing active work outside. I got this vest in XL to put over my size large Carhartt full zip hoody. It is noticeably shorter than the hoody, but it meets its purpose of keeping my core warmer and arms less sweaty.

I really like this vest. I got it as a work vest and I suspect it will be just that, but so far I have enjoyed wearing to casually, before I rough it up. They are seconds, mine seems normal except for a couple of small sewn places on the left shoulder. No issue for me, kinda adds character.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
