It's a work vest that looks more girly

(I am 5'2" about 115 lbs with pear shape for reference--purchased an XS). I purchased this vest with the express intent of wearing it when doing farm chores at my parents' place. Living in WI, it can get pretty cold and I hope this vest will take me through fall, parts of winter, and spring. I prefer to wear wool sweaters (sometimes multiple sweaters at the same time) and then use vest layers so that I have more mobility while still staying warm. Like other reviewers said, this vest has a generous cut that is a bit odd and (in my opinion)unflattering near the hip region. However, since I need it to accommodate sweaters and movement when I'm working, I'm not really concerned. It's not something I'd wear out, but neither are my farm boots. The material seems comparable to the carhartt mens' jackets and pants, but the pink/red color definitely makes me feel like I'm not wearing manly hand-me-downs, but instead something made for me. For the price on Sierra Trading Post, this vest seems like it fits the bill!
