A very nice length for those of us who don't have 23 year old legs.

I've been looking for some time to replace my worn-out denim shorts, but finding some that are not too long (I'm short, so inseams of 8" or more look dumb on me) or not too short (I'm long past the age of short-shorts), not too low or high-cut in the waist, and which you are not required to roll up (I hate the extra bulk and hassle) was a challenge. So I'm glad to say that these will do the trick for me. Although some reviewers complained about sizing, my usual size 4 (I'm 5'2", 105 lbs and active) fit just fine in the pair I was sent. Length and rise are just right. I'm glad my search is over!

Good so far. Brand is always big and the 2 fit me. I'm 51--105lbs. Washed and dried and they fit with room. No tight at all.

I am usually a size 8 in any kind of jeans or pants on STP, but with these Carhartts, I couldn't get the waist within two inches of fastening! This is my first venture into Carhartt, but they were tiny, a size 6 or smaller, based on my experience with other brands. Unfortunately I purchased two pairs and at the sale price they were not worth returning. I gave them to a smaller friend. Good quality, but if you want them, order up a size or two!

It is short but not too short. Just the right size. It can be very classy or casual. Great materials. It is going to be my every-day shorts. I wear size 4, and I purchased size 4. It is a little looser than I would like. I wish they would make size 2.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
