Jeans are comfortable due to softer jeans fabric. I like the fit below the waist and the straight leg. Because of the straight leg I had to order a size up after finding my usual 10 did not fit easily over my thighs. Nice and sturdy for gardening - and days off.

Good quality denim, nice wash but cut too low for this lady. The fit was a bit snug, but that would have been manageable if they weren't cut so low.

  • “Is this pant made of strechy, soft fabrics? Is it comfortable to wear?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 10/24/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • These jeans are made of 99% cotton and 1% spandex. They will have a slight bit of give, but will not be like wearing a pair of sweatpants or leggings. If you find any jeans comfortable to wear, you will find these jeans comfortable, as most womens jeans are made of similar percentages of cotton and spandex.

  • “Good Morning. Are these jeans relax fit?”
Asked by Anonymous from Unknown on 10/7/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • These jeans have a slimmer fit in the seat and thigh and are not a relaxed fit jeans.
Answered on 10/11/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from None
    • These are a Carhartt traditional fit which is a mid-rise that sits slightly below the natural waist. Slim seat and thigh, straight leg. The Carhartt relaxed fit is a classic rise that sits at the natural waist, relaxed in the seat and thigh.

    • Exactly what does relax fit mean? I certainly don't want to wear baggy jeans. I would say they are classy relaxed, not baggy, but comfortable with a little "give" since they are 1% spandex. They're pretty slim fitting without excess fabric, and the elastic offers freedom of movement.

    • The front pockets look very similar to a traditional Levi front pocket. The back pockets have a slightly tappered bottom with double stitching around the perimeter and a double stitch line, which dips in the middle, which runs horizontally across the pockets at the mid-way point. Not too trendy, but attractive.

    • Regular jean pockets.
Answered on 6/23/2011 12:00:00 AM by Sheba from Thousand Oaks, CA
    • The pockets are classic--the only thing that's relatively unusual is that they're triple-stitched like the rest of the jeans. They are sized similar to Levi's, Wrangler or any other non-trendy jean. There is a small, square Carharrt logo patch on the right rear pocket--it's unobtrusive but a clear branding opportunity!

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
