FINALLY found the shirt!

It has taken me 20 years to find the perfect shirt for my husband. Something that comes straight out of the dryer ready to wear, long enough to conceal his gun, durable enough to last many, many years, and comfortable enough to wear all of the time! This is a Man's shirt and I think he looks great... Read More

I've got a typical dadbod. 6', 145lb mostly stomach. This shirt fits as I wanted it to, with roomy pockets. If it's a second, I can't tell. Great price.

  • Well made, poorly sold

I have been buying Carhartt products for years because they stand up to work. This shirt as their other products is well made and I am sure it will last me for years, however it will do so in the wrong color. I bought this as a work shirt BECAUSE it was listed as BLACK, unfortunately what arrived was not black, but instead a factory reject (irregular) that was faded to navy blue. Now had this just been listed as a blue shirt it would be fine but my company colors are black and red, not navy blue. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind irregulars and have bought many in the past but when you are paying reasonable $ for something and the AD isn't clear that it was a 2nd in the first place, then arrives as a different color it is kind of frustrating.

Sierra, you could have done better on this one.
  • Irregular is too irregular

My husband wears Carhartt shirts almost exclusively and always wears an XL. I thought it was safe to order this online in his usual size. It did state "Irregular" but I assumed it meant some stitching was odd or a button in the wrong place, not that the size was incorrect. It was at least a full size too small.
Carhartt washes well and this twill doesn't need much ironing. However, it's a very stiff fabric, so don't expect it to be comfortable.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
