Very impressed upon receiving these pants. I cant see any imperfections at all in any of the four pairs. b11mos is a great color. They hold up excellent for work pants the best part being they seem to breathe much better than denim jeans(I work in hot environments). Fifteen less per pair than what I...

I have washed mine multiple times and haven’t really notice them to shrink so if they have it has been very slight and nothing to effect how they fit me.

None at all. As a matter of fact, I wish they would have shrunk just a bit for a slimmer fit.
-
I haven't noticed one.

Hi Bill - Step 1 is to decide how you will dry them after washing them, and then order accordingly. Check out this chart - https://blog.murdochs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Carhartt-How-to-Buy-infographic-Twitter.jpg. I wanted to dry on high, and I am generally 36x32 - which were a little tight out of the box and before washing - so I exchanged for 38x34, and they're working out. Note, I order the 2nd's to save $, but I can't figure out what's wrong with them. Also, with free returns and exchanges, I'd recommend ordering a couple of sizes, try them on for a baseline, and then determine what could happen when you make your drying decision. Good Luck!

I bought 3 pairs of these and have not noticed any shrinkage. As a contractor I buy mostly Carhartt work pants, I prefer a heavier weight duck materials for most job, but these are nice when I am not doing heavy carpentry. I have never had a problem with any Carhartt product shrinking, then again I never use high heat on the dryer.
-
I own 2 pairs, different colors and I have not experienced any shrinkage nor any other problems with these pants.
I am still at a loss as to how they ended up as "factory seconds"...
I love my pants and am planning purchasing more. -
No sir

I have washed and dried with husband stating only minimal shrinkage. He does tell me that carhartt pants run small (and if you are wearing over long underwear you should for sure size up)
-
I would say no. I wash them typically on warm/warm and dry them in the drier normally, and I have had no issues with shrinking
-
No problem with shrinking. I wear my pants for work all the time.
-
They do shrink some, but still fit OK.
-
After about 12 cycles through the washer and dryer they are staying true to form. No shrinkage experienced.
-
This is my second pair of these style pants, first ki bought with STP, but I've never had any shrinkage problems. All pants tighten up with wash and loosen with wearing them from a day or two, but I've never experienced anything I would call shrinkage.
-
No shrinkage in the pants. However, my husband says they are stiff but durable. I imagine after several washing they will soften up.
-
They shrink a little during the first wash but not much. They are pretty true to fit.
-
Actually no. I've worn these jeans for years. This fabric is a little stiff when it's new. I've noticed that as they get "broken in" they seem to loosen up a little. Interestingly, when I put on my annual "winter coat" (weight gain) they still fit, flex and feel just fine.
-
We have not noted any problem with shrinkage in these pants and have been quite impressed with how nice they stay after repeated washings. My husband wears these daily in his job at the mine and they are standing up well to the abuse.

Yes, they are.

No, they are not lined. It is fair to say that Duck fabric is heavier than most denim.

These are not lined.

I found them to be pretty much right on my size, but I would go bigger not smaller if in doubt.
-
According to our fit team this item is running true to size.
-
I asked my son who wears those pants. He said they generally run true. He is moving from being 32-34 since he is now in a more sedentary job on his job site. He said, since they have it, buy a 33.
Incidentally, he wore those pants for a concrete pour for three 12foot Logix system walls on Friday. They are amazing pants. covered with concrete that he's trying to figure out how to get it out, but amazing. would have been a great Carhartt or Sierra photo shoot!
