Shame on ST and

The pants are typical Carharrt quality, with fit and finish (well almost) being superb. During the build of these pants, something happened to the right leg in front just below the knee that should have deemed the pants unsalvageable for retail. There was an inch long hole that was darned with somewhat contrasting thread that is very noticeable. The pants are fine for work, but not what one would wear out on the town as casual wear, and these pants fit that niche more so than work pants. It used to be that seconds sold here were hard if not impossible to tell from 1st quality, but not anymore as the last few times I've bought seconds here, they've been blatantly noticeable. Come on Sierra and Carhartt, defects like that should never make the retail market, in fact they IMO should or could be donated to charity where they could be written off and make a less fortunate person warm and happy. Trying to squeeze a profit out of heretofore unsalable products is bad for business and I for one will look elsewhere unless it's a dedicated work garment that I'm looking for. Sorry Sierra, you used to be my one stop shopping source for outdoor wear.
