I finally had to ditch the down coats for my job and get a real work coat. This one is awesome. It feels lighter and more flexible than my old Carharrt coat and super warm. I haven't worn it out yet, but it looks like it's supposed to be in the single digits next week, so I will try it out! I person... Read More

I realized this item was a second when I ordered it. But, having purchased seconds of other things in the past, I saw the 'flaws' are hardly noticeable. This was certainly true with this purchase as well. I don't see anywhere where this item is a second. It's a great coat for half the cost. Thank you!!

I'm 5'7" and about 125 lbs and the sleeves on the XS are a little short. They aren't so short that it looks weird but I'd love it if they were an inch longer. I'm going to order the size S and see if that is better. I'd say the XS fits perfect through the body (even on top of a shirt and sweater) for a casual coat but I'm buying this for outdoor work so I'm going to size up to a Small and hope for some more shoulder room and a longer sleeve. Quality is excellent, the black color looks great, the sherpa lining feels soft and nice. Great pockets.

The jacket was well constructed, sturdy and perfect for its intended use as a nursery worker. It was too large, so I returned it. There were none available in the next smaller size.

Very warm and comfortable. Fits well but sleeves could be a little longer. Wish I had bought a size bigger. Doesn't have headphone opening which was one of the main reasons I bought this style but I guess that's what happens when you by 2nds.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
