A great Carhartt pant. Softer and smoother than a Washed Duck pant and not as rugged or sturdy.

Very comfortable and easy for laundry tasks.

  • “Hello

I get the B324 pants for work and even have a few for normal work because hands down they the best overall in fit...waist height, legs not baggy or tight and material not too light or heavy. How do these compare to those? I tried the B11 pants and they are more heavy and bit more baggy in the legs.”
Asked by AstroKid from Tennessee on 8/6/2017 9:51:01 AM
    • These pants are true to size and fit well. They are a lighter pant and are good for summer wear. Not too baggy.

    • Just from a little research, looks like your B324 are 9.25oz and twill. The B151's are 7.5oz and canvas. I've worn these for more than five years (several a year, as my job is punishing on clothes as well as me) and love them. They are very light (I'm a woman wearing men's clothes including boots because they really are more comfortable for working 12 hours in steel toe boots, and the light to me is fantastic) and breathable for if you work in high heat and humidity environments like I do. The one thing you may not like, from your statement, is that they are designed to fit very loosely. They will likely be baggier in the legs than your B324 just from the fit guide (which has been pretty accurate for the various kinds I have tried). Hope that helps!

Asked by Propbuilder from Ga on 11/1/2015 9:22:27 AM
    • I'm just the buyer here, not the seller. The ad says "2nds" in red, so I think they are probably seconds. :)

    • The many Carhartt purchases I have made over the years have been seconds, but I have neber fully determined what the defect was. Maybe a shade off, or an incorrect stitch. Who knows? The look and wear great!

    • as a customer I can only say that the pair I bought showed no seconds in them, if they were seconds they hid it well
Answered on 11/1/2015 10:38:45 AM by Vietvet from Massachusetts
    • Yes they are but they are high quality seconds. Sometimes its a minor stitching flaw or tag not sewn in properly. It will take a while for you to be able to find the flaw.

    • No, these pants are not FR rated.
Answered on 3/9/2015 6:59:29 AM by Eddie from Alabama
    • Not to my knowledge. This would be a better question for Google. I do know that the pants are very durable with triple stitching at the leg seams. They are not a heavy material as I would imagine a fire-rated pant would be, just a good overall work/casual pant.

    • I would go to the 34x30 because it is better to be a little loose for comfortable feel than to tight.when you wash and dry on cotton or high heat and they will shrink alittle.

    • Good question. I will say that I ordered these Carhartts in a 34 length as that is what I normally wear. I had to return them for a 32 length. In short, they ran long in the length. The waist seems pretty dead on though. That said, I would order a 34 waist if I were you. That way they will fit even if you have to wear a belt with them. A 32 could work but could also be pretty uncomfortable for you.
That's my two cents. They are great pants. I am actually wearing mine as I write this. I look forward to owning more Carhartts!

    • Personally, I would bump up a size. I do not fully trust irregular or 2nds labeling. Just my opinion.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
