Has Carhardtt gone Cheap?
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Big Lou from Arizona on Monday, June 25, 2012
I have worn Carhardtt tees for 20+ years and currently have at least 15 around the house. They used to be made in USA and I can certainly understand the need to outsource manufacturing to remain competitive pricewise. What troubles me is that the most recent 4-5 I've bought seem to be made of lighter fabric than my older ones and the ones I just received fit tighter though labeled as the same size. If I take a 3 or 4 year old tee that has been washed hundreds of times and it weighs more than a new one, there must be a quality difference in them. I love Carhardtt products and will still buy and wear them but they are not up to par compared to the "old" Carhardtt product.
