Great shirt for "layering" in cold weather. Fits good and washes nice in cold water.

  • “Can anyone tell me if these shirts shrink at all? I'm not sure if I should size up. Thanks.”
Asked by Carhartt Junkie from United States on 10/1/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • I hang all mine on the line. I don't like dryers. But these are exactly like the description. Very generous in cut. I would try them on and if you like it more fitted, then the instructions say to tumble dry medium. Machine wash warm. I usually get an XL, but these in large are more than generous. I would have been swimming in a larger size. And these could definitely take a dryer ( I live in the High Desert and line drying at 15% humidity is too easy to pass up). Good medium/heavy weight material. 100% cotton.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
