Great value, heavy duty bib
Verified Buyer Reviewed by surveyor from ND on Friday, September 16, 2011
Very heavy duty bib. Material is pretty stiff, but has softened up after a couple washes. I found a couple blemishes on the bib, but nothing major, very hard to notice.

For sizeing, I ordered a 2 inch larger waist than my normal carhartt size. The bibs fit me comfortably over a pair of jeans.

  • Great!

I bought these for my son who occasionally works outside for his job. The temperatures have been dipping below freezing, and he says these are great. I did order a size up from his typical size just to make sure they would accomodate layers. He said they fit good.
  • Quilted Carhartt Bibs for $60?
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Duder from New Hampshire on Friday, September 28, 2018
These are listed as factory 2nds, but I couldn't find anything wrong with mine. These bibs are $100 MSRP and that's what most places sell them for. $60 at Sierra TP is a great deal! I would definitely buy these again.

No more freezing on the boat. These fit great. Washed up nice and are comfortable. The chest clasps aren’t my favorite, but I’ll get used to them.

So worth it, I use mine for really cold ice hockey, working on the truck in the winter, and ice fishing!!! Why pay full price for something like this? Worth it.

Asked by Myra t from Texas on 12/28/2017 6:45:27 PM
    • i went on and was going to order more because the price is great, and they had size options available. I would maybe call if it doesn't show up for the size you want.

    • MYRA, I would keep checking the website as I have purchased these bibs as well as other products and they seem to become available rather quick unless it's something back ordered..

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, some sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. • “The ad say these are seconds. What defects make them seconds?”
Asked by Mr. Bud from Michigan on 11/19/2016 6:53:55 PM
    • We are not given the exact reason that the manufacturer has listed these as 2nds. 2nds are due to minor cosmetic blemishes or irregularities which do not affect the fit, performance, or longevity of the item. Label is usually clipped by the manufacturer. A small flaw means big savings.

  • “Are these bibs lined to the top of the bib, and up the back?”
Asked by Cowboy Carlos from Colorado on 5/1/2016 10:09:17 AM
    • No. They are thoroughly lined from the bottom of the bib down, i.e. from the waist down.
My truck driving boyfriend loves them for over-the-road winter and mountain trips.

  • “Are the bibs considered chaps for logging?”
Asked by Tony from Vt on 1/15/2016 10:08:21 PM
    • Doubtful... They are used by construction workers, truck drivers, mountain folks, and others who must spend time outdoors in cold weather. However, they are not chaps. If one is to work in any capacity with chainsaws, kevlar chaps are highly recommended.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
