The stretchy, protective outer layer is backed with an insulated inner layer to really keep the chill at bay, and stretchy raw edges at the hem and sleeve cuffs help to form a seal so you stay warm.

Castelli is rightly well-regarded for their kit. This jacket is very well conceived and built, from the internal wind baffle to the many useful pockets. The fit is athletically snug. I am tall and lean at 5'11" (180 cm) tall and 160 pounds (73 kg) weight, and the large size fits me like a glove.
