Most Helpful 5-Star Review
body paint is slightly better than inferno.
I don't think there need to be any explanation cause its definitely great.
I wore XL when I was 94cm waist, 102cm hips.
Now I wear L as my size is 85cm waist, 95cm hips.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JAY from Texas on Tuesday, September 13, 2016Great bibs...comfortable for longer rides. Fit a bit small as other reviewers have commented. I'm 6'1" 185 and the XL fit pretty well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by n8hartman from Eastern WA on Wednesday, August 3, 2016The lack of seams on the legs make these very comfortable over long rides. I've worn these a couple times on 40-50 mile rides and love the chamois too. I have a shorter torso so the shoulder straps fit just right (other reviews indicate these can be tight at first). I'm 5'11", 190 lbs and the XL fits perfectly.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JWambo from Texas on Wednesday, August 3, 2016As others mentioned these fit like compression shorts so they are tight. The pad on there is the best I've ever ridden. First it's well designed and vented properly. Second it's stuck to you so well you can't get chaffing. There is no movement.
Order by length. I am 6'1", 172 , 32 inch waist, and ordered the XL and the Large. Couldn't wear the large because of the straps weren't long enough. XL's are perfect. Wore them on Day 2 and 5 of 7 day trip in Calif, and they are the best I've ridden. Hincapie and Assos are my normal bibs.
Reviewed by JohnK from California on Monday, August 1, 2016Retail on these bibs is $250. I got 'em for $109 shipped. I normally wear size medium in most other brands but Castelli runs notoriously small and these bibs are no exception. I ordered size Large and they are still a tight fit on my relatively average 5'11" 165 lbs body. The shoulder straps almost feel too short and they are very snug throughout the hips & crotch. I wasn't sure I'd like the rubbery shoulder straps. However, I took them out on a 5-1/2 hour 90 mile ride yesterday and can report that the shoulder straps were fine. Also, despite the snug fit, they never bothered me throughout the ride and best of all, my rear end was in perfect condition at the end of the ride so the chamois really does work well. Overall, I like them but I'm not sure I'd pay full retail for these. If they had just a tad more room throughout I probably would have given them a 5 star rating.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Matt from Clearwater on Thursday, July 28, 2016This is the third pair of Body Paint 2.0 bibs I have purchased. Sierra gave me the best price by far. My only complaint with these bibs is are the straps. They tend to wrap up and even dig in a little. They do give some over time, but they should be awesome from day one!
