thin lightweight non-bulky

These thin knee warmers are made from the same type of fabric as cycling shorts. Very thin with minimal insulation. I use them when riding in the morning when I expect the weather to warm up later in the day. Then I take them off and stuff them in my jersey pocket. They take up minimal space in my pocket. For warmth, they take the windchill off my knees rather than providing any real insulation. I know some people who use these for sun protection in mild weather (up to the mid 70s F). The thin fabric is not especially durable, but for the cheap price, I don't mind wearing out a couple of pairs of these every year.
