Verified Buyer Reviewed by John T from San Francisco on Wednesday, July 27, 2016At 6'-2"and 160 lbs., I'm slim. I got this vest to replace a large sized Pearl Izumi one I have that fits a little too roomy and has an annoying tendency to flap in the wind (perhaps partly due to the fit/ the large size). I started with a medium in this Castelli vest, but it was too snug (I hear Castelli is known for snugger cuts...). The large is a better fit than medium, but I still get some wind flap, albeit less than with my Pearl Izumi vest. I have not had the zipper problems another reviewer had, although the zipper can get a little hung up on the storm flap at the neckline (where the flap loops over the collar top and down in front of the zipper a couple inches). Although this vest isn't perfect, I'm happy enough considering some cycling vests are $60-$75 and up.
Reviewed by Ken from San Francisco on Saturday, May 28, 2016I'm a big Castelli fan and wear their bibs and jerseys all the time. This vest is soft, stretchy, and form fitting, which is all great, but overall this vest is disappointing. The zipper doesn't operate smoothly and is difficult to pull up and down with one hand (I like to adjust ventilation while riding with the other hand on the handlebar). Another big problem is that the fabric does not breath. Even with the zipper part way down, I am sweating heavily under the vest. I never have this problem with Pearl Izumi vests, which have a more breathable fabric. In cold rainy conditions, this Castelli vest may help to keep the cold rain out, but in dry cold conditions, I would rather wear something more breathable.

The cut is more of a snug/race cut fit. I'm 6-2, 160, and found a large fit best.
Sizing is typical of Castelli and other Italian brands, which is somewhat smaller than American brands. The size chart here is reasonable.
