Verified Buyer Reviewed by HDawg161 from Rocheter New York on Wednesday, July 23, 2014Castelli makes great products, and this is no exception. Taken it out on a couple of high 40's days in the Adirondacks and was perfectly comfortable. The only thing to remember is that Castelli sizes for uber-riders; your average individual is going to want to size up. I normally wear a large and the XL fits perfectly. Overall just a great product and as always STP was fast and hassle free.
Reviewed by Norm from Wisconsin on Monday, May 5, 2014I have a 41 chest size and the Large fits well over a medium t-neck and a long sleeve crew neck base layer. The sizing chart is accurate. The guy who ordered a 2XL must like his cycling jersey to catch a lot of wind. They are supposed to fit tight and wool always fits well. I like the extra-long sleeves. I am 5'9" with a 5'9" wing span and the sleeves still almost go to my knuckles-this is nice to pull the heavy sleeves over my glove cuffs on cool rides to keep out the wind. Most long sleeved jerseys fall a little sort when riding in the drops . The pockets are large enough to hold a rain cape, pump, tire tubes, etc. The zipper is heavy-duty and sticks a little at first but breaks-in after use. It is not made in Italy, rather in China but it is still a very quality jersey. Good quality wool jerseys are hard to find.. Wash in cool water and dry flat-no problems
Reviewed by notlance from CID on Friday, March 14, 2014The wool used in this jersey is very soft. It is a bit small for its size. I am normally a 42 chest and I ordered the 2XL which just fit fine in the chest. The sleeves were quite long for the size. It has gripper elastic along the bottom that keeps it from riding up. Metal zipper is authentic for this style, but it's cold against the skin, and lets cold air through. I guess you'd be wearing a base layer under this cool weather jersey anyway. This jersey is expensive, but very nice, and wool is so much better than plastic bike clothing. I'd buy one again.
