Good, basic, spring-loaded shoe tree

A good basic shoe tree. Though its head expands to take up width, the spring mechanism can be balky and get misaligned in the shoe, thereby leaving your shoe unevenly contorted, rather than stetched. I prefer the old-fasioned leverage/lock types but they are certainly more expensive to build and must be crafted according to widths as well as lengths. So, in a pinch (and I mean that literally), these will do.
  • Best Uses: Beach Wear
  • Cons: Lever-lock is better, Spring mechanism
  • Pros: Expands for width
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Width: Feels true to width
