In true Chaco style, the leather and wool upper has an adjustable strap that hugs your ankle for a custom fit. Additional comfort, support and traction is provided by the cushioned LUVSEAT® insole, nylon shank and EcoTread rubber outsole.

Since they were such a great deal I decided why not? They are very comfortable but also very supportive. Keeps you warm, I don’t wear socks, if you like thick ones in the winter you might need more room but I think the boots are pretty effective without socks. Roomy toebox, cute enough to wear all day and good enough to tromp through the snow.

They are warm, great looking and have treads that keep me from slipping in icy conditions. There was definitely a break-in period for sliding my foot in and out of the boot. At first they were a little tough to slide into. After wearing them, they have stretched out and are much easier to get my foot into. They fit well, but if I were going to wear heavy, wool sock with them, I would need a half size larger.

They are warm but not to the extent that you sweat when indoors. I got them a half size bigger so I could wear with wool socks. Like another reviewer had mentioned, they do have to be unbuckled to get on, but I found after a week or two, they slip on and off.

Comfortable winter shoes that didn't cause me pain were always difficult to find!

I have another pair of Chacos so I knew they would be great, right out of the box. I read reviews that the little buckle is annoying, and I do have to agree with that. But, the fit great and have great arch support.
They are a little roomy, but that works great with socks.
