I just got these and I'm still evaluating whether to keep them or not. I got the sandstone and I like the color. They're very cute. I wear a size 8 and I got a size 8. I wish they were slightly larger but I think an 8 1/2 would be too loose for me if they give any. I don't like how hard they are to slip on. I read another post or two where some folks said you can adjust the strap, which I've done and that they do give so we'll see. That could be a deal breaker because I'm not that flexible and don't want to have to mess with the straps. I did loosen the straps some and I can force my foot into them with a little effort. They come off easier than they go on. I also decided that if I keep them, I'll start out by wearing thin socks to make getting them on and off easier. They are very warm which was actually my first impression. I live in the piedmont of NC and I hope they won't be too warm. We don't get that much snow or cold weather anymore and I'm at an age where I can get hot pretty easy. I think, if the leather will give some, I will like them. I won't be wearing them outside though until I've tried them indoors a couple of hours to see if they are still comfortable then. Of course the arch is awesome. These are Chacos after all.
