I bought these for my wife based on reviews of the sizing being large. I bought size 6 kids for my wife's size 7.5 foot hoping they would fit. Just a bit to short. Good on the width. Excellent quality shoe. Disappointed they didn't fit but, that was my risk. STP makes it easy to return.

  • “Is size 6 the same as a big girl size 36?”
Asked by Lori s from Michigan on 8/30/2015 8:13:26 AM
  • “I bought these in a size 4 after reading the review that they run large. I usually wear a women's size 5 in Chaco's and I have several pairs of Chaco shoes and boots. The pair I got is labeled 4 but are HUGE - more like a women's size 7. I really love the shoe. I hope that maybe, because the other reviews did not mention the problem, that not all of them are mislabled and in your inventory there really is an authentic size 5, or size 4 if they do run a size big. Is there anyway that you can check that for me. I'd really love to have this shoe! I have not returned the ones I have yet, in hopes that an exchange is possible. ”

    • Unfortunately, I had the same experience; I ordered a size 4 in girls for my daughter and they fit me, a size 6.5-7 in women's. They do run large.

    • You bought children's shoes, which have a different size chart than adult shoes. I typically wear women's 7 chacos (7.5 or 38 other brands) and in kids' chacos I wear size 5 (or 6 if I want heavy socks). I hope it worked out!

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
