Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ruben from Alaska on Monday, May 21, 2018Purchased originally for an overnight hike down the Zion narrows but they turned into my favorite shoes. They look like a hiking shoe so I wear them everywhere. The mesh sides keep my feet nice and cool. Wish they kept making these.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by DrDov from MO on Monday, March 19, 2018Very comfortable shoes. The toe box is a bit different than the version with the elastic closing system. I had to go a full size up from what I normally wear.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Susie Q from Arkansas on Saturday, August 19, 2017Bought for Husband, He loves them. Loves the no skid, great traction with these shoes. Great Arch Supports He says they are very comfortable.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mark from Louisiana on Sunday, August 6, 2017Haven't owned a pair of Chaco's since college. Replacing my Teva closed toe sandal and saw these on close-out. Loved them right out of the box. Chaco quality and good looks. Comparing to my Teva's they are a little hotter to wear as they are fully closed with mesh vents around the entire sandal. That would be the negative compared to the open-sided Teva's I'm replacing. While a little hotter to wear, the closed design with full neoprene sock around the ankle provides for the barrier to river rocks, etc... that always got under my foot when wearing my Teva's. When paddling, etc... and walking in a river/stream/lake, etc... I routinely had to take my Teva's off to clear wash-in debri. Not so with the Chaco's. Good hybrid sandal/shoe if that is what you are looking for.

“How can these (and other Chacos on the site) be both minimalist and supportive (Luvseat)? Thanks!”
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, these are not minimalist. We will have this updated.
“is toe box ample such as keen?”
My husband has these and has worn Keens and thinks that they are comparable.
Yes. Not quite as large as my Tevas but about the same as my Keens. Much, much lighter than Keens though and way more support as it is more of a very ventilated shoe.
“Are the water shoes sized similar to the chaco sandals? Should i get the same size as my sandal or the size of my tennis shoe?”
These seem to be more similar to tennis shoes.
