I bought this shoe not knowing if it would fit properly and after reading reviews, I bought 1/2 size larger which works out great. These are cute and comfy and I plan to take them for traveling. Great color too!

Very Comfortable and supporting. Accommodates wide or swollen feet. I ordered 1 size larger and am very glad I did. Absolutely buy again!

I am a huge fan of Chacos. These are roomy enough that I can easily fit my orthotics. That being said, I did buy up a half size- normally a 9.5 wide, but I went with a 10 based on other reviews. Glad I did. Not too large, but again, I am wearing my orthotics in them. I couldn't give a full 5 star rating due to two things. #1 the loop on the outside of the foot near the ball of the foot causes an uncomfortable pressure point. I had to put on some bandaids the first few times I wore them all day long to prevent blisters. Hoping this will go away the more I wear them. The other slightly odd issue is that the strap as it comes across the top of my foot/ankle actually is missing the little pad on the side of the foot. You can see int he product photo, that the cushy foam fabric of the shoe is jutting forward of the strap, and sure enough, it does it on my foot too. That annoyed me at first, but I am getting used to it. I just think it looks a bit odd. But, hey, they are Chacos, and I'm a big enough fan to overlook. Very supportive sole.

These are pretty sweet water shoes, but the shoe color in the photo is not representative of the actual product. I realize that orange or tangerine colors are tough to photograph accurately, but these shoes are rather 'electric' -- and a little too bright for my taste. The straps however, are a great color and are easy to adjust. They are so comfortable (and I'm going to wear them in the water anyway) that the odd-ball color is not a big deal.

    • There's no "leather" on this shoe -- it's all synthetic and my shoe has orange solid areas (toe box, portions of heel and sides.)
the rest of this shoe is a mesh-like material, synthetic trim, and nylon straps.

    • The color with the grey toe is currently sold out. The additional photos are there to provide you with a view of the shoes from all sides. The color in stock is the orange toe.

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
