I am a nurse and stay on my feet for 12+ hrs/day. I have tried nursing shoes and tennis shoes but still have swollen tired feet. These shoes have been awesome. No swelling or pain in my feet for a long time. I like these shoes so well I bought another pair to have when I wear out the 1st pair. Btw..... Read More

  • My Second Pair

I have these in black smooth leather and really like them when I needed new brown shoes, this is what I got. They are casual, comfortable and wear well. Not a great choice for dressier pant and definitely not with dresses but that isn’t what I use them for.

I like these shoes! I need a good arch support and these definitely have them. It takes some getting used to, but they help a lot. And they look great with most pants for work. My feet are just a little wide so it's also taking some breaking in for the sides, but I think they are going to be some of my favorites. If you generally like Chacos I think you'd be happy with them.

  • Nice Shoe but small

I bought the Chaco as a slide mule and the fit was perfect. These are enclosed and has a back strap that is not adjustable. Could not get the shoe on. Too Small/short. If the back strap had been adjustable, I believe they would have been fine. Returned.

  • “Do they fit true to size? And once a size sells out do they usually come back into stock? ”
Asked by Kate from Louisiana on 2/28/2018 6:16:49 PM
    • True to size yes, perhaps to a wee bit big, but strap is adjustable. SO comfortable
Answered on 2/28/2018 6:31:05 PM by Jean C from Florida
    • I wear a size 6 in Chaco sandals find the 6.5 in the ped sheds to be perfect as I have mostly been wearing them with socks though a few times I have gone barefoot and I just cinch the strap down a little tighter. I have average feet..not wide or narrow and these shoes are very comfortable for me, but I also knew what to expect as I have owned Chaco sandals and the foot bed of these is pretty much the same.

I don't have any information about the stocking of the sizes here. Your best bet might be a call to Sierra trading post customer service for that info.

    • Pretty true to size, I'd say. If you're in between sizes, maybe size up. Since they're closeouts, I'd think once they're gone, they're gone. The style is no longer on the Chaco site. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I own.

    • According to our fit team this item is running true to size. Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, some sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

    • Yes I believe so, they’re awesome

    • Yes. They fit and feel very similar to the sandles.

    • Maybe? They are roomier than some other brands, but really neither wide nor narrow. Might work if you plan to wear them barefoot or with very thin socks.

    • My feet are wide as well. I also have bunions. I own many different styles of Chaco shoes and boots, including several colors of ped sheds. They fit fine! I wear my normal size 7.5 in Chaco shoes, and an 8 in their boots. The arch support is incredible. One note, if sizing isn't right for you, the arch won't hit the right place. Love my Chacos!

    • I have pretty average width feet but this is my experience with these: I ordered a half size up (size 6.5) from my Chaco flip flop and sandal size (size 6) and I have been wearing them with thick wool socks with room to spare. The foot bed of these shoes are really similiar to their sandals and slightly larger than their flip flops when I compare my pedsheds those other styles I own. I would think if your feet fit within the beds of the flip flops you would have room in these for the width, there is a cinching strap that makes them slightly adjustable (not as much as the sandals). I hope this helps. These have been really comfortable shoes for me...I ended up buying a second pair in the other color because they feel so good.

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
