I'd like to add my two cents on sizing since this seems to be the biggest concern for prospective buyers. First, here's my foot profile so you know where I'm coming from ped-wise: I'm an 8.5 in most shoes; I wear an 8 in Chaco flip flops since they don't come in half sizes; My feet are a B width, wh... I have Chaco sandals and I absolutely love them. I was hoping for the same with these, I wanted clogs so I could enjoy Chaco comfort year-round. They fit so tight that I couldn't wear them with even thin socks. I don't have wide feet or high arches the shoes were just snug. They felt good, but I wanted a shoe that I could wear socks with.

First review I have written. Appreciate all reviews which helped me decide about this shoe. These shoes are interesting. I have tried other Chaco shoes and sandals in shoe stores, and always found the arches too high and soles too hard. I too have high arches and usually have to buy Superfeet inserts. These shoes fit snug and the arches are high and soles somewhat hard. However, since I bought them online, I decided to wear them around the house. The first hour or two I wanted to take them off, but stuck with it. It seems that after 4-5 hours they have warmed up. The fabric is snug but forgiving and I think the soles have softened. When I sit, Both of my feet are tingly with all kinds of blood flow. I can feel the muscles and tendons relax. Love this shoe. It's a keeper.

I have wanted this shoe for quite awhile. The sale price was amazing and though I have way too many pairs of shoes, I couldn't resist these. Very comfortable, very cute, only complaint (which I can live with) is they are not as roomy on the top of the shoe as I would like but I think as I wear them more that little feeling of tightness should stretch.

  • “If i wear an 8 in normal chacos, should i get that same size in these?”
Asked by Autumn from Maryville Tennessee on 1/12/2012 12:00:00 AM
    • Absolutely, the Chaco Toe Coop Clogs fit the same way as the sandles.
Answered on 1/13/2012 12:00:00 AM by Prod. Spec. Ryan from Sierra Trading Post
    • Put your normal chacos on and stand up in them, now look down and see if you can see a border of sole all around your foot. If your foot reaches the side or even over hands the side at any point you will find these shoes tight as the leather upper is stitched onto the sole on the upper sole surface. This reduces the sole area by about 1-2mm all around. So it depends how your current sandals fit - I had to go to the wide fitting in these even tho my sandals are normal width. But when I put my sandals on part of my forefoot (like near my little toe) reach right the edge of the sandal and maybe even overhang just slightly, the shoes were way too tight in this area.

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
