Not as supportive as Chaco sandals; run 1/2 size large

I am so disappointed to find these don't have the same firm footbed support as the sandal. I was misled by the term "Luvseat platform"; apparently this only refers to the basic contour of the footbed (w/ an arch), NOT the level of support. (I wish Chaco was consistent with the level of foot support, or at least described the differences between shoes!) While there is a pronounced arch, the entire footbed/ midsole is made from softer, cushier foam. If you need firmer arch/ foot support with torsional stability (like I do for plantar fasciitis) these probably won't work for you. If you prefer spongy soft shoes these might work great. (At least the price is good through STP; the shoe is very simple and basic and I would not pay full Chaco price for it. It reminds me of the Keds I wore as a kid!)

I consistently take a size 10 Chaco sandal, but found these fit me best in a size 9-1/2. Also, the "green" color has a bit more yellow in it than it appears in the picture.
