They just don't fit

I have 15 pairs of Chaco shoes and sandals, and, generally without fail, wear a size 7. I tried a 7 and they were so small I could barely get my foot into them. So I ordered an 8. They, also, were tight in the toes, but loose in the heel and my foot just did not feel right in there. Sadly I returned them and won't try again. It seems the sizing was not adjusted to accomodate the thickness of the sheepskin lining and it will be hit or miss as to whether you can wear them.
