Put To The Test Out-Of-The-Box

After being a 25 year Teva wearer,I decided to try Chacos based on friends' raves and that they're made in The U.S..Sadly,when they arrived, the Made In China symbol quickly dispeld that myth....They looked good with town attire.Within the first week,I put them through the test.A 20 mile backpack with 70lb pack, various runs over diverse terrain, creek crossings, climbed a boulder or two, etc. And they held up as good as my Terri-Fi's,and that's saying something..No blisters, strap rawness or any discomfort. The straps dry within minutes. No slipping..I imagine that the Z2 would be all the better..Very little wear on the sole. The sole seems very thin, half that of my Tevas, but they're Vibram, something on Teva offers, they're easily re-solable,and only the test of time will see how long they hold up.
