My 3rd pair. May I live long enough for a fourth. And fifth.

Sandals aren't for everyone. My own teen-aged son announced just this weekend that "I'm not a sandal person, Dad." Oh. Well, I am, and I have been since I first found Alps sandals in Encinitas in the early 80's. Sandals that stay on your feet in extreme terrain. What a concept. Chacos, in the sandal world, are newcomers when compared to Ken and Alps and the first "jesus look", but their footbed is miles ahead of the competition. They are simple and functional. If your idea of art doesn't follow that, then I"ll look for you at the fundraiser's ball next weekend. Meanwhile, I'll be running across the street in my sandals if I choose, working all day long on concrete if I have to, grass if I can, rain or the beach or the grocery store. I put these babies on in the morning and I take them off when I'm done moving.
Sierra Trading had the best price I could find, and a pretty good color selection. They arrived quickly and I'm wearing them as I write this review. Everything is jake.
