Love Chacos and have been wearing them for years - but I received these and the ankle straps are unusually long. So much so that they drag on the ground and I can step on them.
This is an easy fix with a pair of scissors and a heavy duty sewing machine but I was just wondering if "closeouts" meant that there would be irregularities with products?

Great product. Excellent footbed. Chaco is always on their game! Great deal here as well!

My first pear of Z/2's worked so well, and for so long, when they finally wore through the soles, there was no question about replacing them--YES! And as soon as possible, which Sierra Trading Post delivered on, and at their usual great price.

Once I adjust the straps to my foot--I like mine snug, like a running shoe--these sandals become part of my foot, and I can walk, jog, even hike (careful of your toes) comfortably and securely. The molded footbed is as good as my custom orthotics. When they get dusty I just soak them and scrub with a brush. What's not to like?

I was skeptical, since I've had little luck finding sandals that are comfortable for more than an hour or two, but these have made a believer out of me. Got rid of a couple pair of Tevas and a pair of Columbia river sandals. Seem to run just a bit on small size - maybe 1/2 a size.

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
